What is T.R.I.P.?

T.R.I.P. is an exciting opportunity to raise significant funds for Heritage Christian School. It is a fundraising program that works while you shop. It harnesses the buying power of HCS supporters to raise funds effortlessly. Everyday purchases can generate earnings for the school. Vouchers or declining balance cards are purchased by HCS at a discount. These cards are then sold to participating families at face value. We have cards from various grocery stores, restaurants, drug stores, gas stations, and retail outlets. See our order form for a full list of participating vendors.

How Are The Funds Used?

Funds earned through T.R.I.P. are credited to HCS in two different ways.

1. Sixty percent of the funds raised are credited to the general HCS Tuition Reduction Fund.
2. Forty percent of the funds raised are credited to the tuition account of your choice. You may choose your personal account, the tuition of a relative or friend, or designate your credits to the general HCS Tuition Reduction Fund. Parents of preschoolers can start earning tuition credits before their children enter school, which will be reserved and used against their first year tuition.

How Does It Work?

Throughout the school year you can place an order which will be filled and ready for pickup two days later. Normally orders are due on Mondays by 1:00 pm with pickup available on Wednesdays of the same week. Orders may be picked up at the office, or sent home with a student. Standing orders, email orders, fax orders, etc., can all be arranged as well.

Who May Participate?

Participation in T.R.I.P. is open to parents, grandparents, friends, school society members, donors, neighbours, and anyone in the community who wishes to participate. Participation is important. The more people involved, the more money we earn for HCS. It requires very little effort on your part and it benefits the school a great deal.
